Firekkan Plot 2
Firekkans call on you for a “diplomatic” mission. They want leech technology they know Border Worlds are perfecting. What if diplomacy fails? Then, be less than diplomatic about it they say, but they don’t want to be implicated, should that happen...
...therefore they can’t be named during the attempt to get it through diplomacy. It must look like Burrows is negotiating for himself, rather than Firekka. This is very important, as Firekka have a very good relationship with Border Worlds, which they wouldn’t want to stain. They have no idea how you might go about it, but they say recognize you are successful at everything and have every confidence you’ll succeed at this.
You ask what they suggest is a fair payment should you succeed. They say you’ll be considered a most trusted friend of Firekka, and as such you’ll get access to any present or future technologies they develop, which presently includes a holographic theater display and fleet command unit, which is made to fit in the tactical command room of your ship. Plus 250,000 credits.

...(Returning from Border Worlds Plot 2)
We’ve obtained leech missiles. We paid 50,000 credits each, at cost. Can they do with 5 for reverse-engineering?
They say if we can give them 10 now, they promise us 100 in return, once they manage to clone them. And they give us the 250,000 credits they promised, which we use to pay for the holographic table display thing for the carrier.
