After you’ve submitted a few good patches, chances are we’ll automatically make you a “contributor”, and if we really like your work we might invite you to be an official developer. As a contributor you’ll have SVN access to the sandbox and WIKI editing permissions. As a developer you’ll get SVN commit access and a blog spot for your .plan diary.
